So this is it...
So this is it; the final week.
It's the last week before the start,
the start that will shape the rest of our lives,
for better or for worse,
for richer or for poorer,
in - oh wait now I'm reciting marriage vows,
but you get the idea; it's gonna be one hell of a beginning!!
For me, it's the realisation that the 'sun'll come out tomorrow' and the day after that and after that and that and...
Okay that sounds strange but I think it's only just dawned on me that unfortunately I dont have the power to stop time and pause it for a while, so that my heart can catch up with my head!
Some of my closest friends are moving away to university and it just doesn't seem real; it was only an hour ago that exams were finished, summer had started and we were planning the best summer of our lives. (which it was btw! :P)
But now they're all grown up and moving out and the rest of our lives are just waiting for us and although it's happening as we speak, I think mentally it's a philosophical bloody

Because really what have we got to lose, our lives will move on but we'll never forget and I think that's the most magical thing; whether it's our memories rising once again from our subconscious to remind us of the 'good ol' times', or our friends returning from their latest set of adventures, it's always a comfort to know that we'll be here to welcome them home...
