Lush Review - Lava Lamp Bath Bomb

The Lava Lamp Bath Bomb

What a perfect name for this bath bomb, it does exactly what it says on the tin. It is literally a lava lamp in bath bomb form, so if you're a fan of the Lava lamp trend, then this could be for you!

In its dry state the ballistic is such a bold orange, you cant help but smile, and the purple spots only accentuate this bright colouring.

The colour is instantaneously transferred to the water as soon as it makes contact, which is always exciting to see!

The pictures honestly don't do the bath bomb justice. at. all.

It wasn't yellow at all in real life!

The orange part of the bath bomb fizzed out much more quickly than the purple which left them floating and melting by themselves.

The purple melted down and sat atop the water much like an oil would..

This preceded the Lava Lamp intentions of the Bath Ballistic, which was the most impressive part of the entire bath bomb (not including the initial colour burst).

Out of curiosity I then picked up one of the three purple blobs that still resided in the bath and was very disappointed to discover that they were not like any other bath bomb part that I've come across before. they were very oily and kind of soap like.. The colour ran from them and straight onto my skin.

Luckily it washed off easily with a lot of water..

It didn't just get on my hands, it also got all over my skin and lined the top layer of the bath - probably due to the purple residue sitting on top of the water. I had to have a shower after my bath to get rid off the purple and the slimy residue it left all over!

If you like lava lamps, you'll love this bath bomb.
If you dislike feeling like you have slimy skin, you probably wont.

These pictures show a little more of the colour but still aren't 100%.

Stay Excellent
